All grown up," Serena captioned the video. The hotel where the party took place is called Chable Maroma, a luxury resort located in Mexico.
Bouchard on Serena Williams' retirement
2014 Wimbledon finalist Eugenie Bouchard is grateful to Serena Williams for always being nice to her and for showing her "how to fight on and off the court."
Following Williams' US Open exit, Bouchard took to Twitter to pay a tribute to the American. "I’m so grateful I got to be on the same court as you. Even though I lost every time. You showed me what it means to fight, on and off the court.
Ever since we met, you’ve always been so nice to me. Thank you, @serenawilliams," Bouchard wrote on Twitter. Furthermore, former world No. 5 Eugenie Bouchard praised Ajla Tomljanovic for how she handled everything that came with playing Serena Williams in the American's final tournament.
“How she (Tomljanovic) handled the whole Serena situation I thought it was really so gracious and humble and like I think a lot of people became fans of her because of that. (It was) unbelievable. Like, I don’t know if I’ve seen a sporting event like that before,” Bouchard said on Tennis Channel, per Sportskeeda.
